Economics

Economic students study the roles of government, business, financial institutions, and individuals as they interact to determine the distribution of a country's total range of goods and services. Students develop a foundation of theoretical knowledge and the analytical skills required to address such issues as unemployment, inflation, interest rates, and wages. Topics of study include: supply and demand, money and banking, public finance, price theory, taxation and international trade. Many students combine the study of Economics with either Finance or Business Administration.
