University of Winnipeg Collegiate

UWinnipeg Collegiate is a high school located on the UWinnipeg campus, in downtown Winnipeg. The collegiate provides superior preparation for university with many of the amenities of a university campus.

Collegiate Overview:

UWinnipeg Collegiate covers grades 9 through 12. The academic year closely follows the UWinnipeg pattern of three terms. In addition to providing a range of traditional high-school courses, students may also engage in university dual credit courses. These courses are designed for students who want to accelerate their learning, and students earn both high school and university credits for these courses.

Accommodation:

The UWinnipeg homestay program matches students with approved host families. Students will have a room of their own and spend their academic year as part of a Winnipeg family. This program is mandatory for international students under the age of 18. Alternative housing options are available for students age 18 and up.

Extra Curricular Activities:

UWinnipeg Collegiate has a wide range of extra curricular activities open to students. For sports: Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer and Badminton just to name a few. For student clubs: international student organization, debating, robotics, and many others.
