Master of Education (Windsor)

The Master of Education at the University of Windsor is a course-based program that will enable you to examine philosophical orientations, conceptual frameworks, and research methodologies relevant to the study of policy, leadership and the theoretical and development aspects of curriculum in a Canadian and international context.

Program Overview

You will study and live in Canada for 16 months over 4 academic terms. The program objectives will be accomplished through the completion of nine courses, followed by the capstone course, the Final Project Seminar. Courses may include Research in Education, Comparative and International Education, Educational Policy Analysis and Information and Communication Technologies.

There will be opportunities for professional development during your studies and this may be in the form of extracurricular activities. The activities may include observations in Canadian classrooms, school site visits, meeting with school officials, and senior School Board and Ministry of Education administration.
