Osgoode Hall

Osgoode has an internationally renowned full-time faculty and many talented adjunct faculty members primarily drawn from the Toronto Bar. Few law schools in the Commonwealth can compare to Osgoode’s faculty in terms of the quality of our research and the influence that research has on the directions taken by the law, by public policy and by legal scholarship. In addition, Osgoode’s Law Library, the largest in Canada, is a superior resource for students and faculty alike.

Because the law school is located in Toronto, the student body is culturally and ethnically diverse. Osgoode student societies and associations offer you opportunities to make Canadian and international friends while you study. And as a student you’ll have access to all that Canada’s economic hub has to offer.

The school also has an international focus. Courses and lectures focus on being a lawyer in a global context and students are encouraged to take part in scholarly exchanges both in Toronto and abroad. While teaching you about Canadian law, the school equips you with skills and tools that can be used all over the world.

Osgoode offers student services like family residence facilities that make life easier for mature students. Student Financial Aid can give you advice on how to fund your studies, and Career Services can help you find a position once you’ve completed your degree.

Studying at Osgoode Hall Law School gives you the solid, valued credentials you’ll need for a successful and rewarding career in the field of law in Canada.
