The Canadian University Application Centre (CUAC) in West Africa made a dynamic move when it opened a Liaison Office in Accra. Already there are Ghanaian students coming to Canada and we are targeting ten new students for September 2006. Indeed, the CUAC campus has an exciting and growing West African community.
Mr. Dani Zaretsky is the CUAC's frequent traveler to Ghana. He has visited a number of local schools from GIS to Lincoln Community to Rev. John Teye. He also enjoys traveling in Ghana, having traveled from Ho to Cape Coast, from Busua to Aflao.
Mr. Zaretsky has recently visited the Canadian High Commission in Accra and regularly meets with Canadian government officials to discuss how to better promote Canada, and ensure that genuine students going to CUAC universities can get visas.
Ms. Gifty Annan-Myers is in Ghana full time. She is an enthusiastic and diligent member of the CUAC team. Ms. Annan-Myers brings the energies and passion for Ghana as the head of the Ghanaian Rugby Association, to her work for CUAC.
Aunty Gifty connects with schools and students and their families across the country, to make the application process easier. Aunty Gifty is the best first stop to have your qualifications assessed, and for help in the entire process from applying to one of the CUAC universities, to traveling to Canada.
