Huron University College is Western University’s founding institution and offers students a remarkable blend of engaging and nurturing classes within one of Canada's largest research universities. With roughly 1100 students, Huron University College challenges students to be Leaders with Heart and prepares graduates for all areas of civil society.

We have chosen to remain small and exceptional in our commitment to undergraduate education. Huron offers its students academic excellence with small class sizes and one-on-one attention from faculty and staff, all within a warm campus community. This means that professors can support students as they develop scholarly interests, and write detailed, personalized reference letters for professional pursuits or graduate school. Huron’s Student Support Services are accessible and able to help students map out their time here so they can maximize academic and extracurricular opportunities.

Beyond the classroom, Huron opens the door to a world of international opportunities, including study abroad opportunities, to work and study programs, to volunteering for development agencies.

After their four years at Huron, students are equipped with communications and problem-solving skills, along with a  commitment to social responsibility. Our alumni know that their individual gifts were recognized and developed during their time at Huron.

Located in London, Ontario, students have access to all of the tremendous facilities Western University has to offer. A vibrant Canadian city, London has a wide range of culture, food and entertainment and is just a two hour drive from Toronto, Canada’s largest city.
