Geology
Geology, or Earth Science, is the study of the earth and how it has evolved over 4.5 billion years.
Geologists study rocks, atmosphere, and fossils to understand how the earth works and how human beings affect it. They study how earthquakes happen, how lakes are formed, and the effects of things like volcanoes and lava. They also hunt for and manage natural resources like oil, minerals, and precious metals.
