Saskatoon is the largest city in the province of Saskatchewan. With more sunshine than most cities in Canada, it is beautifully located on the South Saskatchewan River. Its location gives it easy access to beautiful parks, and other relaxing natural habitats.


The university is known for its collaborative, interdisciplinary approaches to tackling global challenges such as water and food security, energy sustainability, and combatting infectious disease.

Established in 1907, the university is a member of Canada's U15 grouping of large research universities. USASK has 13 interdisciplinary colleges, three graduate schools and six affiliated or federated colleges, with a medical school and a large range of doctoral research programs.
